About Next Level Physiotherapy in Varsity Lakes
Located in the heart of Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast, Next Level Physiotherapy and Strength Studio is a private clinic helping people recover from injury, rebuild strength, and return to the activities they enjoy through evidence-based physiotherapy and exercise-based rehabilitation.
Your care begins with a thorough one-on-one physiotherapy assessment, followed by a structured rehabilitation plan designed to restore strength, rebuild movement confidence, and improve your body's ability to tolerate training, sport, and everyday activity.
This structured approach allows us to identify and address the underlying cause of pain rather than simply managing symptoms, helping you build the strength and confidence needed for long-term recovery.

Who We Commonly Help
At Next Level Physiotherapy and Strength Studio, we work with people who want more than temporary pain relief. Many of our clients train regularly, play sport, enjoy an active lifestyle, or simply want to move with confidence without pain limiting the things they enjoy.
We commonly help people with:
Back Pain: Persistent back pain, lifting injuries, sciatica, and recurring flare-ups.
Elbow Pain: Tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, tendon injuries, and elbow pain during lifting or gripping.
Hip Pain: Hip tendon pain, groin pain, gluteal tendinopathy, and pain during walking or training.
Knee Pain: Runner's knee, patellofemoral pain, tendon injuries, and knee pain during squats or sport.
Neck Pain: Neck stiffness, posture-related pain, headaches associated with neck dysfunction, and whiplash-related injuries.
Shoulder Pain: Rotator cuff injuries, shoulder impingement, gym-related shoulder pain, and overhead sports injuries.
Ankle Pain: Ankle sprains, Achilles tendon pain, running-related injuries, and ongoing ankle instability.
We also support people with recurring pain from training, work, or everyday activity, as well as those returning to exercise after injury or surgery. Every rehabilitation plan is tailored to your goals and designed to help you return to training, sport, work, and everyday movement with greater strength and confidence.
Our physiotherapists provide structured rehabilitation designed to help you return to training, sport, and daily movement with greater strength and confidence.
Our Approach To Physiotherapy
At Next Level Physiotherapy and Strength Studio, we believe successful rehabilitation begins with understanding why pain developed in the first place. Every client starts with a detailed assessment before progressing through a structured Injury Rehabilitation program designed to restore strength, rebuild movement confidence, and support long-term resilience.
While hands-on treatment may be used when appropriate, the foundation of our approach is progressive Exercise-Based Rehabilitation that helps people rebuild strength and improve their ability to tolerate training, sport, work, and everyday activity.
Our goal isn't just to reduce pain. It's to help people develop the strength, movement quality, and confidence needed to stay active, remain independent, and keep doing the things they enjoy for years to come.

Next Level’s Founders
Next Level Physiotherapy and Strength Studio was founded by Cory and Aleana Myers with a shared vision of creating a clinic centred on high-quality rehabilitation, personalised care, and helping people stay active for life. Rather than focusing on short-term symptom relief, the clinic was built around thorough assessment, structured rehabilitation, and building people's confidence to return to training, sport, work, and everyday life.
Today, that philosophy continues to shape every rehabilitation plan and every appointment. You can learn more about the team guiding your care on our Meet Our Physiotherapists page.
Cory Myers, DPT
Cory is a physiotherapist with a background in personal training who has a particular interest in injury rehabilitation and exercise-based physiotherapy. His approach focuses on helping people understand why pain has developed, continue moving where appropriate, and progressively rebuild the strength and confidence needed for long-term recovery. Rather than chasing quick fixes, Cory works closely with each client to develop practical rehabilitation plans that support lasting results and help them return to the activities they enjoy.
Aleana Myers
Aleana is a Strength and Rehabilitation Coach who works closely with the physiotherapy team to help clients build confidence in movement as they recover from injury. She is strongly interested in progressive strength training and guiding people through structured rehabilitation programs that support long-term recovery, resilience, and a confident return to everyday activity, training, and sport.
