Our Physiotherapy Approach
We believe successful rehabilitation begins with understanding why pain developed in the first place. Every client starts with a detailed assessment before progressing through a structured Injury Rehabilitation program designed to restore strength, rebuild movement confidence, and support long-term resilience.
While hands-on treatment may be used when appropriate, the foundation of our approach is progressive Exercise-Based Rehabilitation that helps people rebuild strength and improve their ability to tolerate training, sport, work, and everyday activity.
The goal isn't just to reduce pain. It's to help people develop the strength, movement quality, and confidence needed to stay active, remain independent, and keep doing the things they enjoy for years to come.
Our physiotherapists commonly help people with:
Back Pain: Persistent back pain, lifting injuries, sciatica, and recurring flare-ups.
Elbow Pain: Tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, tendon injuries, and elbow pain during lifting or gripping.
Hip Pain: Hip tendon pain, groin pain, gluteal tendinopathy, and pain during walking or training.
Knee Pain: Runner's knee, patellofemoral pain, tendon injuries, and knee pain during squats or sport.
Neck Pain: Neck stiffness, posture-related pain, headaches, and whiplash-related injuries.
Shoulder Pain: Rotator cuff injuries, shoulder impingement, gym-related shoulder pain, and overhead sports injuries.
Ankle Pain: Ankle sprains, Achilles tendon pain, running-related injuries, and ongoing ankle instability.
We also support people experiencing recurring pain, sports injuries, and those returning to exercise after time away through structured rehabilitation tailored to their goals, lifestyle, and activity demands.
Cory Myers | Physiotherapist & Director
Cory is passionate about helping people recover from injury without giving up the activities they enjoy. With a background in personal training and a strong interest in exercise-based rehabilitation, he helps clients rebuild strength, restore confidence, and safely return to training, sport, work, and everyday life.
Cory has a particular interest in helping active people recover from shoulder, hip, knee, and gym-related injuries. He regularly works with people returning to strength training, sport, and other physical activities through structured rehabilitation programs that prioritise long-term recovery over short-term fixes.
Cory believes people recover best when they understand their injury, remain active where appropriate, and progressively rebuild strength over time. His goal is to give every client the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools they need to recover well and keep doing the things they enjoy long after physiotherapy ends.
